About Us
Welcome to Stompa's website. We operate online and accept phone orders only.
By accessing and using www.stompa.com (our site), you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
- Information About Us
Stompa is operated by Nordika Design Ltd. (referred to as we, our, us). We are registered in England under company number 03342838, with VAT registration No GB 708 2381 42. Our registered office is located at High Rigg, Panorama Drive, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, LS29 9RA.
- Service Availability
- All prices on our site for orders above £130 include delivery to UK mainland postcodes, *subject to a surcharge for certain postcodes. Orders below £130 incur a £15 delivery surcharge.

- For deliveries outside the UK mainland (including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Shetland Islands, the Channel Islands, the Scilly Islands, and the Isle of Man), please contact us for a delivery quote.
- We also deliver to Belgium, Holland, France, and Germany. Please call for a quote before placing your order.
Delivery Cancellations:
- Outside 48 Hours: No additional charge.
- Within 48 Hours: We may charge up to £99 per bed for failed delivery/assembly.
- Your Status
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You reside in mainland Great Britain (excluding certain areas listed in Section 10).
- You are accessing our site from within mainland Great Britain.
- Consumer Rights
As a consumer, you have the right to cancel a contract within 7 working days from the day after receiving the products. To cancel, inform us in writing at our registered address or email us at [email protected]. If products have been processed for delivery, they must be returned at your cost and risk. You must take reasonable care of the products; failure to do so may result in a claim for compensation.
- Ordering Products
After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This does not mean your order has been accepted. We will confirm acceptance via email, forming the contract between us.
- Availability
All products are subject to stock availability. We will notify you as soon as possible if a product is unavailable and may need to cancel your order. If payment has been made, we will refund the full amount.
- Ordering Errors
You can make changes to your order until you click the ‘submit order’ button during checkout.
- Prices
Prices on our site include VAT and home delivery costs. Home Assembly is an additional chargeable service. We strive for accuracy, but errors may occur. If a product’s correct price is lower than stated, we will charge the lower amount. If higher, we will contact you for instructions or reject your order. We are not obligated to provide products at an incorrect price if the error is obvious and could have been recognized by you.
- Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Delta, American Express and Visa Electron. We do not accept cash, cheques, gift vouchers, or PayPal. Delivery is conditional upon full payment.
- Delivery
We aim to deliver orders within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Delivery to remote areas may take longer. Offshore and European orders are kerbside palletised deliveries only, with additional charges and no assembly service.

- Returns Policy
If you cancel a contract within the terms of Section 4 and products have been processed or delivered, we will arrange collection. You must take reasonable care of the products for a full refund. Assembled products will incur a deduction for assembly and disassembly charges, up to £198 per bed or wardrobe. Collection-only returns where Stompa has not assembled the products will incur a £60 charge. Mattresses cannot be returned once the packaging is opened. We cannot collect returns for Ireland, Northern Ireland or Offshore UK and you must arrange a return at your own expense, before returning any item please contact us at [email protected]
- Risk and Title
Products are at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership transfers to you upon delivery or full payment, whichever is later.
- Your Information
We process your information according to our privacy policy. By using our site, you consent to this processing.
- Our Liability
In case of a fault (including defects or non-matching descriptions) within a reasonable time after delivery, we will exchange or refund products per our returns policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Events Outside Our Control
We are not liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations due to events outside our reasonable control, such as Acts of God, severe weather, industrial disputes, or acts of local or central government.
- Severability
If any term is held invalid, the remaining terms continue in full force.
- Entire Agreement
These terms and any notices on our site constitute the entire agreement between us regarding product supply. No other terms will form part of the contract unless agreed in writing by an authorized Stompa employee.
- Our Right to Vary These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time of your order apply.
- Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
